In the name of Allah the most Beneficent, the most merciful

The Reformative Dawa’h Centre
(Markaz Al Da’wah Al Islahiyah)

(At. Zeromile Near Bus Stand, Distt. Araria, Bihar, India)

Undoubtedly, the calling to Allah Almighty is one of the most important religious duties and one of the best acts in Islam, and it is the task that Allah assigned to all of the prophets and messengers so that the word of Allah becomes supreme. Allah Almighty created us and colonized us in this world for a specific purpose, which is to worship Him alone and only. As the Almighty said:

“I did not create jinn and humans except to worship Me.” (Adh-Dhariyat:56)

Allah Almighty created man in the best form and distinguished him from other living things, so there must be limits, laws, regulations, and etiquettes for him. As well as morals to be able to live with others. And his life must be subject to the command of Allah in all conditions and acts so that the meaning of worship in his life is fully realized.

To clarify these systems and etiquettes of life, Allah sent Prophets and Messengers. Hence there is no nation in this world without a messenger from amongst his messengers or a prophet from his prophets, who bring people out of darkness into light and from misguidance to guidance, and to warn those who do not believe in His signs and cause corruption on the earth and give good tidings to those who believe in ِِAllah and do righteous deeds.

And after the chain of prophets and messengers had ended, and the Seal of the Prophets, Muhammad (PBUH) was sealed, the responsibility for calling to Allah Almighty rests with all Muslims, in accordance with their knowledge and ability. Therefore, there are many texts in the Qur’an and Sunnah, which show the importance and virtue of calling to Allah Almighty. The Almighty said, showing the virtue of the da’wah (call), and its great honor:

“And whose words are better than someone who calls ˹others˺ to Allah, does good, and says, “I am truly one of those who submit.”? (Fussilat:33)

It is the task of the prophets and messengers (peace be upon them). Whereas Allah the Almighty, said while he commanded his beloved prophet (PBUH), to do it:

“Invite ˹all˺ to the Way of your Lord with wisdom and kind advice, and only debate with them in the best manner. Surely your Lord ˹alone˺ knows best who has strayed from His Way and who is ˹rightly˺ guided.” (An-Nahl:125)

Likewise, the call to Allah Almighty is one of the pillars of the religion, and one of the foundations of the spread of Islam. The Almighty said:

“Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “This is my way. I invite to Allah with insight—I and those who follow me. Glory be to Allah, and I am not one of the polytheists.” (Yusuf:108)

And in the Noble Qur’an, Allah The Almighty encourages us to spread the call to ِHim and promises his people victory and success in this world and the hereafter, as the Almighty said:

“Let there be a group among you who call ˹others˺ to goodness, encourage what is good, and forbid what is evil—it is they who will be successful.” (Al Imran:104)

The virtue and goodness of the preachers are visible in the noble verse in which Allah The Almighty said:

“You are the best community ever raised for humanity—you encourage good, forbid evil, and believe in Allah. Had the People of the Book believed, it would have been better for them. Some of them are faithful, but most are rebellious.” (Al Imran:110)

This blessed verse indicates that the reason for the existence of goodness in this nation is by the calling (Da’wah) to Allah Almighty and fulfilling the responsibility of promotion of Virtue and the prevention of vice. And because of the call to Allah Almighty (Da’wah), the people’s family and social conditions improve, and their transactions are sorted, such as buying, selling, contracts, marriage etc. and disciplines their morals and behavior. Their hearts are cleansed of grudges and hatred and the quarrels and disagreements between them are lessened and their souls are purified from vices and evil desires. Also, abandoning the call to Allah (Da’wah) leads human societies to deterioration and then to perdition.

Given the deteriorating conditions of human societies throughout the world in general and in India in particular, and the spread of polytheism, heresies, false beliefs, and destructive theories about them, Sheikh  Mufizuddin ِِِAl-Riyadhi established the Al Islah Dawah Centre in Araria, Bihar (India) on 13/11/2020. He obtained help from a group of trained preachers who took interest in Friday sermons, monthly lectures, and weekly lessons, they participated in religious and scientific meetings, spread the teachings of the Qur’an and the Sunnah among people in various ways, and fought polytheism, heresies, and immorality.

Objectives of establishing a reform da’wah centre:

The purposes for which the Centre was established are summarized as follows:

  1. Spreading the teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah as they are the main sources of the eternal Islamic Sharia.
  2. Raising the new generation on the correct Islamic belief that is not tainted by any blemishes of polytheism, infidelity, or heresy.
  3. Preparing fine, trained preachers who are equipped with a wide Islamic culture, to contribute to spreading the teachings of peace and to respond to the enemies of Islam with the strongest arguments and methods.
  4. Fighting against heresies, superstitions, and customs that oppose religion, and protecting Muslims from destructive principles and the atheistic doctrines that infiltrate the ranks of the Muslims and destroy their moral spirit and Islamic characteristics.
  5. Serious efforts to unite the ranks of the Muslims, and to return them to the principle of adhering to the Qur’an and the Sunnah, believing that their honor and dignity depend on that.

The means and methods used by the Centre to spread the call to Allah:

Allah The  Almighty has commanded wisdom and fine preaching for the sake of calling to him. There is no doubt that can only be done by choosing the best means and methods for preaching that are suitable to the conditions of the invitees, the more powerful the means were and appropriate to the situation, the more effective the call to Allah will be. , Therefore, its weakness and lack of conformity with the requirements of the situation and negligence in choosing shall lead to the weakness of the call to Islam and its failure. The means and methods of calling to ِAllah Almighty differ according to time and place. And according to the people’s different understanding of the meaning of the invitation, and according to the different understandings of the invitees and the addressees of the meaning of the Islamic call (da’wah) and the extent of their understanding of the true Islamic religion. The importance of the means and methods of da’wah also becomes apparent when the da’wah is directed to pagans, atheists, and infidels who deny Allah and His signs and believe only in materialistic methods.

Below we mention some of the means and methods that the Centre uses to call to Allah Almighty.

  1. Pulpit (minbar) sermons:

The sermon is a great and beneficial means of conveying the call to ِAllah Almighty. The preacher can deliver the Islamic call to a large number of people and a large gathering of people called to Allah. In the Friday and Eid sermons, there is an ample opportunity to invite people and direct them to the path of guidance, provided that the preacher makes good use of it. Because of the great importance of the sermon, the Centre has appointed skilled preachers

who go to mosques in different villages and deliver sermons around topics specified by the Centre citing Quranic verses and pure prophetic hadiths. And sermons are published on different platforms of social media, such as YouTube, Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter, and other platforms in the calling to Allah Almighty.

It is worth noting that a mosque was also built in the Ziromael area in the city of Arraya, Bihar, India, by the name of “Al-Tawhid Mosque”. It is worth mentioning that this mosque was built in a place where the number of Salafis is only a few, but people from other sects attend Friday sermons and are influenced by them, praise be to Allah.

  1. Weekly lessons:

Giving lessons is also one of the important means of da’wah, and one of the most important advantages of lessons is that it is more useful than sermons and lectures because whoever attends the lesson can ask and inquire about everything that comes to his mind or that confuses him/her. The lessons consist of the explanation of a verse of The Noble Qur’an, or the hadith of the Prophet (PBUH), or a statement of an emerging jurisprudential issue. These lessons are also published on social media.

  1. Monthly lectures:

Lectures are also one of the most important means of calling to ِAllah Almighty, and are a wide field for da’wah and spreading the word of Allah. Lectures are often given with a specific topic and aim for a specific goal. Given their importance and the people’s need for them, the Centre has appointed some preachers who give lectures monthly on specific topics corresponding to the conditions and circumstances, and the lectures are also recorded and published through modern audio-visual media.

  1. Writing articles and islamic researches :

Indeed writing is one of the most important means of calling to Allah Almighty, through which the preacher can deliver his call to those who cannot communicate with them verbally, and it helps him spread his message to the horizons, especially in the present time when the world is witnessing rapid changes and huge developments in the world of communications and the world of technologies. It preserves knowledge, and if it weren't for writing, a lot of knowledge would be lost. The predecessors reached knowledge for those who came after them, either verbally or in writing, so they preserved the sciences in their books, so the successors carried them after them and passed them down generation after generation. This was a reason for its preservation after the grace of Allah. Realizing the importance of writing, the preachers of the Centre carry out the duty of the call to Islam through writing in books, newspapers, and magazines, explaining the merits of Islam, and responding to the doubts and

suspicions raised about Islam by its enemies.

  1. The Centre's use of media and technology in the calling to Islam:

The era in which we live and the era of science and technology, it is an era characterized by being more advanced in various areas of life. The world today, through the Internet, has become a small village, but a small room surrounded by one every minute and second. Thanks to science and technology and the presence of media and technical devices, life has become very easy. A person can communicate through it from the east of the earth to those who live in the west in a second and can benefit from Islamic information, religious books, and other sources of Islamic law and Islamic encyclopedias stored there. Muslims must take advantage of these means and use them in calling to Allah Almighty for the best use, and introduce the world to the teachings of the eternal Islamic law. As mentioned above, the Centre uses modern audio-visual media such as YouTube, Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter, and so on, techniques in calling to Allah Almighty.

May peace, mercy, and Allah’s blessings are upon you
